Sausalito

Sausalito is a very small city in Marin County that’s just north of the Golden Gate Bridge, so it has a nice view of San Francisco.

There are plenty of great restaurants with terraces, which provide a great atmosphere to have lunch under the sun while taking in the sights of the city.

Sausalito is also a nice place to walk the streets and do some shopping. Since it is a small city, you do not need a lot of time to explore all of the non-residential areas.

Right on the coast in the northern region of Sausalito is a really great and somewhat hidden area: the Floating Homes. Even if the smell is a little gross, this is a fun place to walk around. The houses are so different and unique, so it is worth checking out.
